Product Overview

BMW X4 F26 is a compact crossover in production from 2014 to 2018. It was available with a range of inline-4 and inline-6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
Essentially an hunchback version of the F25 BMW X3, the F26 X4 takes the latter's decent styling and destroys it with a ridiculous "coupe" roofline. This stunt not only makes the vehicle uglier and less practical, it also somehow adds thousands to its price tag. Alas, many consumer have been fooled by the larger number (presumably the X4 is 33% better?).
Drivetrain-wise, the F26 X4 is identical to the F25 X3. The vehicle sports some rather unreliable engines, including the disastrous N57 diesel and N20 petrol engines. The only not-so-bad petrol option is the N55 I6, which is better than the N54 but nowhere close to the earlier N52 or the newer B58. The good engine is the 2.0L B47 diesel.
