Product Overview

Porsche Cayenne 957 (chassis code 9PA) facelift is a mid-size crossover in production from 2007 to 2010. It was available with a range of VR6, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 4.8 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the facelift Mk1 Cayenne boasted larger displacement and a slightly more imposing exterior styling. Interestingly, Porsche continued to offer 6-speed manual transmission on up to the 4.8L NA V8 Cayenne GTS, making this the ultimate iconic high-performance crossover.
On another note, a diesel was offered, which is perhaps designed for posers who think people are deaf.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, will appreciate the decent approach, departure, breakover, and climb angles that the vehicle offers: Though a crossover at heart, the original Cayenne indeed had some offroad capabilities.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Porsche Cayenne 957 comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. This is a bit unusual for AWD and less tunable than a multi-link front setup, but what you lose in performance you gain in durability.
