Product Overview

Volkswagen Tiguan (Typ 5N) facelift is a compact crossover in production from 2011 to 2015. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the facelift Mk1 Tiguan became much more appealing: somehow, Volkswagen fixed the rear quarter view.
However, the positioning of this vehicle meant that Volkswagen could not / would not put an interesting motor inside, and the Tiguan remained a bland vehicle dynamically: Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Volkswagen Tiguan uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
