Product Overview

DS 4 Crossback (chassis code NX) is an affordable subcompact crossover in production from 2015 to 2018. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 2.0 liters.
Based on the DS 4 hatchback, which was marketed as Citroen DS4 before the facelift, the DS 4 Crossback is a new form factor: Citroen jacked up the vehicle with bigger wheels, thrown on some black plastic and roof rails, and called it an "SUV". Many have been fooled.
Still, the DS Crossback uses Citroen's usual torsion beam semi-independent rear suspension paired to MacPherson struts at the front. The car is underpowered and poorly engineered overall.

Reviewer score 57% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
DS4 Crossback is new DS4 crossover. Raised ride height, that plastic wheelarch cladding and the curving rear roofline. You also get an extra 40mm of ground clearance, the wheelarch spats and alloy wheels painted black as standard. As with the regular DS4 range, there's now a seven-inch touchscreen.
Pros
  • More fun to drive
  • Improved ride quality
Cons
  • More body roll than standard DS4
  • No two-tone paint option
