Product Overview

Seat Exeo ST (B7, Typ 3R) is a compact executive station wagon in production from 2008 to 2013. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
Essentially, the Exeo ST is a rebadged B7 Audi A4 Avant. This is a way for VAG to continue producing the same model when the top-marque, Audi, has already moved onto the B8 model. Understandably, Seat received only the smaller engines from the B7 A4.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Seat Exeo ST comes with multi-link suspensions all-around. While unusual for a FWD vehicle, this setup offers superior handling characteristics than a normal strut setup.

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
All the basics remain the same, while the styling is Luc Donckerwolke'd with new bumpers and lights front and rear. Inside you get the old A4 cabriolet interior, distinguishable from the old saloon by virtue of its triple centre air vents. Even in the mid-ranking SE trim that we sampled, the Exeo ST is crammed with standard equipment like dual-zone air-con.
Pros
  • Frugal, well-built cabin
  • Lots of standard equipment
Cons
  • Cheap to drive
