Product Overview

Jaguar XF Sportbrake Mk2 (chassis code X260) is an executive station wagon in production from 2015 to 2020, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
In the first half of the model run, the XF Sportbrake II started with Euro 6-compliant engines. They were updated to Euro 6d-compliant in 2019, which unfortunately added complexity and maintenance (and probably reduced reliability and durability), thanks to EU bureaucrats.
The vehicle has a design very similar to the X250 XF Sportbrake, giving a strong hint of laziness in the design department. Still, the X260 wagon comes with updated engines and more broad options for manual transmissions.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Jaguar XF Sportbrake (X260) comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. Combined with RWD, this setup provides one of the best handling characteristics and tuning capabilities.
