Product Overview

Jaguar X-Type Estate is a compact executive station wagon in production from 2003 to 2009. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the X-Type sedan, the Estate is arguably more elegant, even though the form factor is a rare occurrence in the history of Jaguar. The engines on the X-Type Estate have a mix of Jaguar and Ford origins, however, and none really stands out.
The fact that the X-Type Estate is akin to a suited-up Ford Mondeo, with the same suspension setup to prove it, is disappointing.
