Product Overview

Mazda 6 II / Atenza Wagon (chassis code GH) is an affordable mid-size station wagon in production from 2007 to 2010, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.8 to 2.5 liters.
Compared to the Mk1 model, the Gen2 Mazda6 wagon has a busier styling that in many ways was a letdown. On the positive side, Mazda did improve the interior of the vehicle, and some engines became more powerful (marginally so).
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Mazda 6 II comes with double-wishbone and multi-link suspensions. While unusual for a FWD vehicle, this setup offers superior handling characteristics than a normal strut setup.
