Product Overview

Mini Clubman Mk2 (chassis code F54) is a compact station wagon in production from 2015 to 2019, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.5 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Gen1 Clubman, the F54 Clubman has a more conventional design, though it still isn't what one would call a conventional station wagon: The vehicle has four doors just like a conventional wagon; however, it retains the two side-by-side doors on the back. This setup gave the Clubman a unique rear / rear-quarter view that is sure to stand out.
In the drivetrain-front, a lot has changed in just a single generation: The Mk2 Clubman uses BMW's new and improved B48 and B47 I4 as well as B38 and B37 I3 engines that are much more reliable. Better transmissions are also used.
Additionally, the Clubman received independent rear suspensions and AWD.

Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The Clubman Cooper SD All4's £27,390 price tag is enough to cause lips to purse. Even the front-drive Clubmans offer a nimble chuckability that you simply won't experience driving an Audi A3 Sportback or Mercedes A-Class. While the All4 allows the Mini estate to corner that nth of a degree tighter, you can't help but think all-wheel drive's not added that much to the joy factor.
Pros
  • All-wheel drive is fun to drive
  • Fantastic all-wheel-drive
Cons
  • No manual option
