Product Overview

Mini Clubman Mk1 (chassis code R55) is an affordable subcompact station wagon in production from 2007 to 2014. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
Unlike conventional station wagons, the Clubman had neither a hatchback nor four normal side doors. Instead, it has two rear doors side-by-side, two main doors similar to the standard Mini hatchback, and a tiny suicide door on the passenger side. As an "enlarged" version of the Mini, the Clubman can be said to be rather unwieldy, though its unique door situation does add some charm to the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the R55 Clubman essentially used PSA engines, with the BMW N47s being the exception: This was one of the worst diesel engines that BMW made in recent years. Hence, the Clubman's drivetrain is highly dubious.
