Product Overview

Peugeot 407 SW is an affordable large station wagon in production from 2006 to 2008. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.9 liters.
Compared to the 307 SW, the 407 SW at least has a semi-decent design. More importantly, Peugeot bothered to give it fully-independent suspensions with double-wishbone fronts and multi-link rears.
The engines were rather disappointing, but that is no news for PSA (now part of Stellantis). V6 engines, including V6 diesels, were made available, though they proved to be more problematic than the I4s.
