Product Overview

BMW 5 Series Touring F11 LCI is an executive station wagon in production from 2013 to 2017. It was available with a range of inline-4, inline-6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 4.4 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, BMW started rolling out the B47 I4 diesel shortly after the LCI. This was the only good engine option available, even though it was severely underpowered for a vehicle as large as the F11 Touring. Otherwise, BMW kept essentially the same engines and increased the boost for higher outputs. This couldn't have helped long-term reliability.
BMW has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the LCI F11 comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. Combined with RWD, this setup provides one of the best handling characteristics and tuning capabilities.
