Product Overview

BMW 5 Series Touring E61 LCI is an executive station wagon in production from 2007 to 2010. It was available with a range of inline-4, inline-6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 4.8 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the LCI introduced some not-so-great petrol engines, notably the N53 and N54 inline-6s. Fortunately, the M47 and M57 diesels stayed, and the N52 I6 hung on as the last of the good petrol engines from the good old days.
Design-wise, the LCI made the 5 Series Touring slightly busier, but the changes were so minimal that it is very hard to tell.
BMW has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
