Product Overview

Volvo V90 Cross Country is an executive station wagon in production from 2016 to 2020, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 liters.
Essentially, the V90 Cross Country is the V90 with extra plastic thrown on (usually in the black flavor, though Volvo is classy enough to offer it in other colors). Other differences include increased high height and standard AWD.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Volvo V90 Cross Country comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. However, the tiny engines and the extra plastic do not inspire any sporting spirit.

cnet[1]

Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
The V90 Cross Country's cabin is beautifully trimmed and massively comfortable. The turbo- and supercharged T6 engine is potent with 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Being a wagon, cargo capacity is also a strong suit, with 25.5 cubic feet of real estate in the trunk.
Pros
  • Powerful turbo-and-supercharged T6 engine
  • Comfortable cabin
Cons
  • Lackluster power delivery
  • Sensus is slow to boot
