Volkswagen Passat B8 Alltrack (Typ 3G) is a mid-size station wagon in production from 2014 to 2019, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 liters.
Compared to the B7 Passat Alltrack, the B8 Alltrack is not as ugly but still much worse than the standard B8 Passat Variant on which it is based. Still, the unfortunate trends formed over the last two generations continued with the B8, resulting in smaller engines and more difficulty in maintenance.
Fortunately, the car received multi-link front suspensions, which the B5/B5.5 Passat used to have.
