Volkswagen Golf Mk6 Variant (Typ 5K) is a compact station wagon in production from 2009 to 2013. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 2.0 liters.

Compared to the Mk5 Golf Variant, the Mk6 suffered another round of downsizing. Many of the engines are now turbocharged and direct-injected, a combination that doesn't bode well for reliability.

An improvement can be found in the suspensions, with multi-link rear suspension replacing the old semi-independent setup.
