Product Overview

Volkswagen Golf Mk5 Variant (1K) is a compact station wagon in production from 2007 to 2009. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Mk4 Golf Variant, the Mk5 introduced minor styling changes as well as newer transmissions, including the DSG-branded DCT transmissions that have since proven disastrous in terms of maintenance and reliability.
Unfortunately, the Mk5 Golf continued to use a basic suspension setup befitting only an economy car.
