Product Overview

Subaru Legacy 4 Station Wagon (chassis code BP) facelift is a mid-size station wagon in production from 2006 to 2009. It was available with a range of flat-4 and flat-6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, very few changes were made, and almost all of them were cosmetic. A notable exception is the introduction of a flat-4 diesel that became available in oil-burner-loving EU.
A large part of the reason that owners purchase this vehicle may be the flat-6 (H6) engine, which has very low center of gravity, instant power response, and perfect smoothness. It should be noted that the H6 engine is not a true "boxer" engine, as the opposing cylinders share the same crank pin.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Legacy 4 Station Wagon still uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
