Product Overview

Skoda Octavia 3 Scout (Typ 5E) facelift is an affordable mid-size station wagon in production from 2017 to 2019. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.8 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, Skoda reduced the amount of black plastic and made the vehicle more palatable. As usual, the facelift also included a new engine lineup. As such, the facelift Gen3 Octavia Scout may be an ok vehicle for those who cannot afford a better car but still wants to rock the "offroad" look.

Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The new 2017 Skoda Octavia Scout impressed us off-road. It doesn't feel massively loftier than a regular Octavia, but it feels genuinely capable and rugged in the rough stuff. In the bends the Scout rolls more than other Octavias owing to its softer, higher suspension set-up. It's a great all-rounder and very easy to use day-to-day.
Pros
  • Excellent off-road capability
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Lots of fun to play with
Cons
  • Expensive for what you get
