Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate S204 facelift is a compact executive station wagon in production from 2011 to 2015. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 1.6 to 6.2 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, Mercedes introduced some styling changes that made the vehicle more angular and somewhat more modern. Still, it appears that the wagon form factor seems not to work as well in a mid-size chassis compared to how it is with the E-Class Estate of the same period (S212).
Some new engines were introduced, with direct injection becoming more prevalent, though Mercedes had not jumped fully onboard with turbocharging and downsizing (as compared to Audi in particular).
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the S204 C-class uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
