Product Overview

Toyota Avensis 3 (chassis code T270) Wagon is an affordable mid-size station wagon in production from 2009 to 2011, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.2 liters.
Compared to the Gen2 Avensis Wagon, the Gen3 model has a more elegant design that, especially in the pre-facelift guise, has aged rather well. An evolution of the petrol and diesel engines found in the Gen2 model can be found here, though Toyota paired them with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, which further improved fuel economy. Curiously, CVT is used for some models.
Another key update is that double-wishbone rear suspensions are used to provide superior comfort and improved handling, even though the Avensis is still just an economy car.
