Audi S6 Avant C7 (Typ 4G) is a high-performance executive station wagon in production from 2012 to 2014, whereupon it received a facelift. It was powered by a bi-turbocharged V8 engine that displaced 4.0 liters.

Unlike previous models, the C7 S6 Avant uses roughly the same hot-vee 4.0L V8 found in the C7 RS6 Avant. Whereas the RS version used a conventional ZF 8HP automatic transmission, the S6 Avant uses a 7-speed DCT transmission. Thus, many may consider the S6 Avant a rather compelling option considering the similarities.

Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the C7 S6 Avant comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
