Product Overview

Saab 9-5 II (chassis code YS3G) is a affordable full-size sedan in production from 2009 to 2011. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 2.8 liters.
At the time of its launch, the Gen2 9-5 boasted an exterior design that was ahead of its time. Some of the styling cues, such as rear light bar, became popular only a decade later. The sedan also features a decidedly "cab-forward" design that is unashamedly FWD.
Still, with the rather potent 2.8T engine, the 9-5 had rather decent performance. It was also available in AWD.
Unfortunately, as Saab filed for bankruptcy, the vehicle's production was cut short.
