Product Overview

SEAT Exeo (chassis code B7, Typ 3R) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2008 to 2013. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
Essentially, the Exeo was a bargain Audi A4, essentially copying the latter's homework ad verbatim. Still, at the point of the launch of the SEAT Exeo, the B7 A4 was already being replaced by the newer B8 A4. Moreover, Audi's trademark quattro system, or any AWD system, was not given to the Exeo.
The one advantage to this is that the Exeo kept Audi's multi-link suspensions. With the small, underpowered, and unreliable engines and CVT gearbox, however, that good handling is hardly needed.

Reviewer score 59% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The Seat Exeo is in essence a rebadged old shape Audi A4, save for new front and rear end styling. Inside it uses the same dashboard, instruments, column stalks and other furniture from the A4 Cabriolet. Expect prices of between £17,000 and £20,000 come next April.
Pros
  • Good ride quality
  • New Servotronic power steering
Cons
  • Not as comfortable as the old A4
