Product Overview

Alpina B3 E46 is a high-performance compact executive sedan in production from 1999 to 2005. It was available with a range of inline-6 engines that displaced 3.3 liters.
The E46 B3 was based on the E46 328i and 330i in various stages of production: Before 2000, the engine was a bored M52TUB28. As the M54 engine replaced the M52, Alpina switched to the M54B30. For the first time, the Alpina B3 was available in AWD, though this configuration was not available with manual transmission.
Towards the end of the production run, a B3 S model was added. This was based on the S52B32 engine and enlarged to 3.4L.
As usual, the B3 is extraordinarily handsome and is an equally-desirable alternative to the E46 M3, which did not come in sedan form.
