Alpina D10 E39 is an executive sedan in production from 1999 to 2003. It was available with a single inline-6 diesel engine that displaced 2.9 liters.
The E39 Alpina D10 was based on the E39 BMW 530d. Its engine, based on the M57D30, was not bored. Instead, Alpina replace the single-turbo setup with a twin-turbo one. At the same time, similar updates as found in the B10 E39 were made to the interior and exterior as well as chassis and suspensions.
