Product Overview

Acura TL 4 (chassis code UA8/UA9) facelift is an executive sedan in production from 2012 to 2014. It was available with two V6 engines that displaced 3.5 and 3.7 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the facelift TL 4 retained the same engines. However, the automatic transmission was upgraded to a 6-speed unit, resulting in significant fuel economy improvements.
Since 2010, the SH-AWD model was available with a manual transmission.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Acura continued to equip the TL 4 with double-wishbone and multi-link suspensions. While unusual for a FWD vehicle, this setup offers superior handling characteristics than a normal strut setup.
