Honda Accord 8 (chassis code CP/CS/CU/CW) is a mid-size sedan in production from 2007 to 2012. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.5 liters.
As usual, the Accord 8 was a global car assembled in many different countries with lots of variations in styling and equipment.
The engines offered on the Accord 8 were numerous; without a consistent naming structure, it can seem confusing: In each specific region, however, it wasn't the case, for only a small subset of them were available in each market. The only automatic transmission offered was a 5-speed unit, which was outdated and not very good. The manuals were quite good though.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Accord 8 comes with double-wishbone and multi-link suspensions. While unusual for a FWD vehicle, this setup offers superior handling characteristics than a normal strut setup. Sadly, there was hardly the engine to take advantage of this setup.
