Product Overview

Hyundai Genesis 2 (chassis code DH) is an executive sedan in production from 2014 to 2016, whereupon it was renamed Genesis G80 under Hyundai's new Genesis sub-brand. It was available with a V6 and a V8 that displaced 3.8 and 5.0 liters respectively.
With the 3.8 GDi engine, Hyundai offered both RWD and AWD options. The 5.0L GDi V8 was RWD-only. All powertrains include Hyundai's own 8-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Genesis DH comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
