Product Overview

Hyundai Grandeur / Azera 5 (chassis code HG) is an affordable large sedan in production from 2011 to 2017. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.4 to 3.3 liters.
Continuing with its prior success, Hyundai launched the Grandeur HG with a lot more confidence than before. This vehicle, now out-grown the mid-size class, has a more unique design language that has since been elaborated by Hyundai in subsequent models. The interior has also been improved.
Engine-wise, Hyundai has avoided forced-induction, though the 3.8L V6 was dropped. Every engine was mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Things aren't all rosy, however, as the Gen5 Grandeur / Azera lost the double-wishbone front suspension.
