Product Overview

Lexus LS 430 (chassis code XF30) is a full-size luxury sedan in production from 2000 to 2003, whereupon it received a facelift. It was powered by a single 4.3L naturally-aspirated V8 engine, the venerable 3UZ-FE.
Compared to the LS 400, the LS 430 has more interior space and is slightly larger. Styling-wise, it is an evolution.
With the 3UZ-FE paired to the highly-reliable A650E 5-speed automatic transmission, many regard the LS 430 as the pinnacle of reliable luxury sedan.
Lexus has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with an improved 0.25 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Lexus LS 430 comes with double-wishbone suspensions at all four corners. This provides the good cornering performance and durability, though multi-link tends to be more tunable. Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.
