Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz C-class W204 facelift Is a compact executive sedan in production from 2011 to 2015. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 1.6 to 6.2 liters.
Like the pre-facelift W204, the most exciting model is undoubtedly the C63 AMG with naturally-aspirated M156 engine. The most advanced naturally-aspirated V8 ever put into a Mercedes, it has lots of characters and is to this day loved by enthusiasts all over. One should keep in mind, nonetheless, that the M156 has premature cam wear issues that require frequent oil services to mitigate and occasional check-ups to stay on top of. This engine alone arguably make the W204 C63 AMG the best C-Class ever.
With the facelift, another major change is the complete drop of supercharged I4 engines. In their place, we find turbocharged I4s. Fortunately, they aren't as fragile as VW's and BMW's turbo I4s.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the W204 C-class uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
