Product Overview

Porsche Panamera (chassis 970) is a full-size luxury sports sedan in production from 2009 to 2013, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 4.8 liters.
Many will find the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S, with their 4.8L bi-turbo engines and AWD, deliver the best performance. However, many enthusiasts will appreciate the Panamera S with manual transmission paired to a naturally-aspirated 4.8L V8. This was arguably the option that will appreciate in value overtime, too.
Unfortunately, to help prospective owners avoid high car/road taxes, Porsche offered diesel and hybrid powertrains, which did not suit the characteristic of the car and, some may say, are abominations.
Porsche has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Porsche Panamera 970 comes with a double-wishbone + multi-link suspension setup for great handling and comfort.
Some did not like the Panamera's styling when it came out, but others find it rather unique and memorable.
