Product Overview

Toyota Avensis 3 (T270) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2009 to 2011, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.2 liters.
On the plus side, the engines offered for the Gen3 Avensis continued to be reliable. The automatic transmission, however, may be a different story depending on the engine chosen: The diesel had the rather stout 6-speed automatic installed, but the petrol models used an M-Drive CVT. This has been a lowlight for the Avensis. Fortunately, most Europeans who purchased these vehicles new opted for the manual.
As before, while the AT270 Avensis received a more modern exterior, it still uses a rudimentary suspension setup, giving it an uninspiring handling characteristic.
