Audi S4 B9 (Typ 8W) is a compact executive sports sedan in production from 2016 to 2019, whereupon it received a facelift. For the first time in the history S4s, the B9 S4 was available with either a V6 TFSI petrol engine or a V6 TDI diesel. Power is sent to all wheels via an 8-speed ZF 8HP transmission.
This generation of Audi vehicles arguably received one of the most notable styling updates in a decade. For the A4/S4/RS4, the direction seems rather positive, with much appreciated (for this class) mix of aggressiveness and sportiness.
Audi has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the B9 S4 comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
