Product Overview

Nissan Maxima 5 (code A33B) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2000 to 2004. It was available with a range of V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.5 liters.
While the A33B Maxima was introduced in the end of the 1990s, it did not come with the level of flare and features that many had come to expect from that time. Nevertheless, Nissan assembled these cars in its Japanese plant, making it one of the last economy vehicle to be manufactured by Nissan in its home country.
Regrettably, Nissan moved to an all-V6 lineup for the Gen5 Maxima, even though what many today would love to have is the I6s (RB series) from the 90s.
As an economy car, the Maxima 5 had a basic suspension setup.
