Product Overview

BMW M5 E60 is the high-performance version of the E60 sedan in production from 2005 to 2010. It is available with a superb S85 V10 engines that displaced 5.0 liters.
The naturally-aspirated S85B50 engine is the first and only V10 engine from BMW. Roughly based on BMW's F1 engine, the S85 offered not only superb power and torque output but also fantastic sonic performance.
In the USA, the E60 M5 was available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Unfortunately, the rest of the world must make do with a DCT unit, which is never a great idea for long-term, high-mileage ownership: Even though the S85 is known for excessive camshaft wears, the engine certainly makes the car a worthwhile investment. The car is undoubtedly already a modern classic.
