Product Overview

BMW M5 E39 is a high-performance sports sedan in production from 1998 to 2004. Based on the E39 sedan, it was available with an S62 (S62B50) V8 engines that displaced 4.9 liters.
Owners will certainly enjoy the powerful naturally-aspirated V8. It features individual throttle bodies, duplex timing chain, hollow camshafts, and a semi-dry sump oiling system.
With a 13.9L/100km (16.9mpg) fuel "dis-economy", owners have to be prepared to pay for their "smiles-per-mile", though the E39 M5 has without a doubt become a modern classic.
Unfortunately, this generation of M5 used MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
