Product Overview

BMW 5 Series F10 is an executive sedan in production from 2010 to 2013, whereupon it received a facelift. It is available with a range of inline-4, inline-6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 4.4 liters.
Buyers may be attracted to the V8 in the 550i the most; however, the N63 unit is perhaps the least reliable V8 engine that BMW has ever made. It is difficult to recommend. The more reliable options would be the N52 found in lesser models.
At the same time, BMW made a valiant effort in combining comfort and sportiness to the F10. The vehicle has a good 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it. It is larger and heavier than its predecessors, though BMW has finally endowed it with double-wishbone front suspensions.
