Mazda 6 / Atenza II facelift (code GH2) is a large sports sedan in production from 2010 to 2012. It is available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 1.8 to 3.7 liters.
Mazda only introduced minor cosmetic updates to the vehicle, while the most important updates are in the diesel engines: Diesels were primarily sold in Europe, and per regulations Mazda had to downgrade them to meet Euro 5 emission standards. This meant higher fuel consumption and lower power output, just the recipe for saving the planet.
Otherwise, the Duratec V6 from Ford was still available.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Gen2 Mazda 6, after facelift, still retains the double-wishbone + multi-link setup for good handling characteristics.
