Product Overview

Mazda 3 / Axela II (code BL) facelift is an affordable compact sedan in production from 2011 to 2013. It is available with the new Skyactiv powertrain including a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.5 liters.
Moreover, Mazda has made good efforts on the aerodynamics, with an improved 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it. The relatively high towing capacity and small turning circle remained.
Still, at this size class, the hatchback made a lot more sense, especially the Mazdaspeed3 variant.
