Product Overview

Chevrolet Cruze Sedan is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2009 to 2013, whereupon it received a facelift. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displace 1.6L to 2.0L.
The Chevrolet Cruze Sedan is limited to inline-4, which just a decade ago would be considered inadequate but which is what most have to live with today, thanks to regulations.
Suspension-wise, the Cruze Sedan has nothing to write home about.

External Reviews

carmagazine[1]

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The Korean-built Cruze is aimed at what used to be called ‘budget' cars in the UK. As a four-door saloon there aren't any direct rivals for Cruze at present, but obvious alternatives include the Hyundai i30, Kia Ceed and a recently facelifted Skoda Octavia. The diesel is no more frugal nor especially cleaner than equivalent engines from its Korean rivals.
Pros
  • Powerful diesel engine
  • Decent range of engines
Cons
  • Cheap to run
  • Lack of standard equipment
