Product Overview

Chevrolet Sonic (Aveo II in select markets) is an entry-level subcompact sedan in production from 2011 to 2015, whereupon it received a facelift. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced from 1.2L to 1.6L.
The small sedan is limited to inline-4, which just a decade ago would be considered inadequate but which is what most have to live with today, thanks to regulations. Its questionable exterior design makes one wonder why new car buyers would choose it over the alternatives, too.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
Another plus is the small 10.0m (32.8ft) turning circle.
