Product Overview

Volvo S80 II facelift is a premium executive sedan in production from 2009 to 2013, whereupon it received the 2nd facelift. It is available with a range of inline-4, inline-5, and inline-6 engines that displaced from 1.6L to 3.2L.
Owners will likely appreciate the most either the turbocharged inline-6 (I6) engine, which is perfectly balanced while being rather simple to work on, or the turbocharged inline-5s. Unfortunately, the gorgeous B8444S V8, which was available for just a few years, had been cancelled.
Volvo has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. The Volvo S80 II facelift also comes with a high towing capacity.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Volvo S80 II uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
