Product Overview

Volvo S60 II is a premium mid-size sedan in production from 2010 to 2013, whereupon it received a facelift. It is available with inline-4, inline-5, and inline-6 engines that displace from 1.6L to 3.0L.
Owners will likely appreciate the most the turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-6 (I6) engine found in the T6 models, which is perfectly balanced while being rather simple to work on. It is the largest modern I6 mounted transversely for FWD.
Compared to the Gen1 model, the S60 Gen2 has a much more modern exterior and interior design, though its driving characteristics still fall behind that of its European competitors.

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The Polestar S60 costs $300,000 to commission and is a one-off. Powered by an uprated turbo and a naturally aspirated S60 T6 engine. Power is delivered through a six-speed manual gearbox to all four wheels. The track is 20mm wider at the front and 40mm at the rear. Ohlins dampers are superb, giving tight body control.
Pros
  • Gutsy straight six
  • Haldex 5 engines
Cons
  • Not the most fun to drive
