digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 62% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Olympus E-M10 Mark IV captures excellent images with a few sacrifices to performance, build quality, and controls. The 20.3 megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor captures sharp images with good color. Video is available at 4Kp30 and offers the same solid color and detail as the images. Olympus is currently negotiating a deal to sell its imaging division.
Pros
- Excellent image quality
- 5-axis sensor-shift autofocus
- Compact body
- Good build quality
Cons
- Lacks image stabilization
- No mic port

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)With its in-body stabilizer, the E-M10 Mark IV is a solid option for those looking for easily captured, high-quality 4K video footage. The feature set isn't the most robust (nor would we expect it to be), but the out-of-camera footage using the 'Natural' profile is generally really nice. For the most part, continuous autofocus is solid when shooting video.
Pros
- Excellent image quality
- In-body stabilizer
- Long-lasting battery
Cons
- Not the most robust autofocus system
- No microphone or headphone jacks

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV is a fine starter for photographers beginning with the Micro Four Thirds system. It includes 5-axis IBIS, a rare feature in starter cameras, and is backed with a fully realized lens system. The camera records 4K at 24 or 30fps, and can go to 120fps if you drop down to 1080p resolution.
Pros
- Excellent image quality
- 5-axis IBIS

Cons
- Flip-under screen isn't great for vlogging
- No external microphone

While its rivals are more geared towards video shooters, this cameras wants to be a great stills camera first and foremost. We were really impressed with this camera's basic kit lens – its 14-42mm pancake lens option is a fantastic starting place. It offers a versatile focal range that covers everything from landscapes to portraits.
Pros
