Product Overview

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G85 is a affordable mirrorless camera in the Micro Four Thirds-mount system. Introduced by Panasonic in 2016, it comes with a micro four thirds sensor with 16 MP (4592 x 3448) resolution and a 2.36 million-dot EVF.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the Lumix DMC-G85 has a 200 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images.
The DMC-G85 comes with a fully articulated touch display and 49 autofocus points.

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
Panasonic's Lumix G80 / G85 is a feature-packed camera that stacks-up very well against its rivals. As a mid-range mirrorless camera, you'll enjoy the usual features including a decent viewfinder, articulated touch-screen, loads of manual control and built-in Wifi. The G80/G85 goes the extra mile with great quality 4k video built in that rivals industry leader Olympus, and a weather-sealed body and kit.
Pros
  • Excellent autofocus
  • Built-in Wifi
  • Excellent build quality
Cons
  • No RAW processing
  • No built-in Wi-Fi
