Product Overview

Sony a7S is an affordable mirrorless camera in the Sony E-mount system designed for videographers. Introduced by Sony in 2014, it comes with a full-frame sensor with 12 MP (4240 x 2832) resolution and a 2.40 million-dot EVF.
The camera has a usable battery life, though a second battery may be a good thing to keep in your camera bag. The Sony a7S's 5.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The Sony a7S comes with 25 autofocus points.
