Sony Alpha A7 III is a highly versatile and feature-packed camera. It delivers crisp and satisfying images from its 24 Megapixel full-frame sensor. It captures good-looking 4k video in either full- frame or cropped APSC modes. It handles itself confidently for action with 10fps bursts and phase-detect autofocus across almost the entire sensor.
Pros
  • Excellent image quality
  • Excellent autofocus
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • Can’t crop 1080p at any frame rate

Reviewers from gizmodo have found:
For $1,300, the Canon RP succeeds as an entry-level full-frame camera. The Sony is just much better at producing a pleasing image from a grainy photo than the Canon. The biggest issue in day-to-day shooting is the Canon's lack of in-camera stabilization.
Pros
  • Excellent image quality
  • Easy to use
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No in-camera stabilization
  • No manual controls

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
Sony a7 III looks a lot like the a7 II, but the upgrades inside are palpable. Autofocus system is vastly improved, with much wider coverage and 10fps capture. A high-capacity battery keeps the camera shooting for much longer than previous a7 models. Sony sells an add-on accessory with balanced XLR input for projects.
Pros
  • Excellent image quality
  • Excellent battery life
  • High-capacity battery
Cons
  • No in-body stabilization
  • No telephoto zoom
