Product Overview

Olympus M.Zuiko 12mm F2 is a wide-angle prime lens for Micro Four Thirds-mount. It covers the MFT image circle. Introduced by Olympus in 2011, it has 11 elements in 8 groups.
The entire lens is crafted out of metal, which imparts a level of tactile sense of quality. Unfortunately, Olympus has opted to omit weather sealing for this lens, so owners should pay extra attention when shooting in incremental weathers.
As a wide-angle prime lens that is quite compact, the Olympus M.Zuiko 12mm F2 can be an interesting component of a prime-lens kit well adapted for travel. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
